Yellow & Blue Border
In June and July yellow is found in lupins, achilleas, sisyrinchiums, thalictrums, hemerocallis, iris, thermopsis and roses. Blue is represented by galega, baptisia, campanulas, clematis, hardy geraniums, salvias, iris, nepeta & hostas.

By August the stronger yellows of rudbeckias, heleniums, kniphofias, crocosmias and late achilleas are dominating the colour scheme. These are offset by the blues and purples of verbenas, asters, aconitums, herbaceous clematis and the second flowerings of campanulas and salvias.
